Went here for dinner just because it was close by and was surprised at how good the food was. Had the risotto and must say it was the best risotto Ive had in a very long time. Service was friendly and fast and no one at the table was disappointed with what they ordered.
Your typical pub. I only go there for their parmas, and have only had their wrap on one other occasion – so I haven’t tried too many of the other items on their menu. However, they have many different options of their parmas, all of which I have tried and thoroughly enjoyed.
After picking where to go for lunch at 11:45pm the night before, I certainly wasn’t disappointed. While the decor in here is outdated, don’t let that ruin it for you. The staff are friendly, fast and accommodating. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. The lunch menu prices are AMAZING and such a great bargain. Can’t go past them for value. The food was also an honest to goodness pub meal and filled us right up. If you’re ever in Geelong, consider the Sir Charles Darling. It’s a cheap and cheerful place to go!
