The best pizza in Geelong hands down!
Town and Country had very friendly service and there were plenty of pizzas and pastas to choose from. The pizzas were made of very fresh ingredients and far less greasy than many other pizza places around Geelong
Service was good at 8.30 on a Thurs with enough wait staff who got us a table promptly. Disappointed with the lasagna which had 9 layers of pasta and literally no sauce between the sheets (and we all like to have some sauce right!). Kids pizza was ok but uninspiring, the boss had pasta marinara which was the best pick of the evening. Overall good service but the food needs a lot of improvement chef!
Sat at 7pm. Food came out at 8.30. Well some of the food. Been here for two hours now and still don’t have all meals. Waiters are walking around trying to find which tables meals belong to. The place is half full and they can’t service anyone. Drinks took nearly an hour to arrive. Woeful.
I ordered the meatball pasta. So firstly it was dry, and yet the noodles were soggy. The meatballs were halved. Telling by the clean cut on the meatballs and the chewy fish ball-like texture, I am quite certain these were from frozen processed meatballs. No flavour to the meatballs whatsoever
I couldn’t finish it because it was so bad. When I asked about it, one of the waitstaff at the till told me that the cooks get flustered and can overcook it. I don’t like to make a fuss over these things, but thought I would give feedback at least, even if after the meal. To be blatantly lied to, I don’t appreciate it. I would have at least liked an admission that I was served poor quality food. I think the average consumer who has had fresh and frozen processed meatballs can tell the difference.
I love the pizzas here. Great crust, the perfect amount of cheese and toppings for days. I liked the service too. A typical pizza place, so I can’t really complain about the ambience.
Really average. I ordered the parma which was nice and I enjoyed but also had a pasta and pizza on the side which was terrible. This place looks and feels nice but needs the food to be much better.
My family have been coming here for years (before this one opened, at the Waurn Ponds restaurant). Great family restaurant. Good variety on the menu. Right on the Waterfront, nice fitout. Great value – mostly pizza and pasta but great salads too. Willing to accommodate. Good for vegetarians and gluten free pizzas and pastas too.
