The staff are so friendly, not too sure about the food (got confused with the restaurant) but definitely will be coming back just because of the great the staff are!! Thank you Lisa and another young man, whos name I didnt quite, the customer service here is impeccable.
We stayed at the Novotel Hotel on a recent trip to Geelong and this restaurant is attached to the Hotel .
We had Breakfast & a Dinner at the Waterfront during our stay .
The breakfast was OK but nothing exciting . It is a typical Hotel Buffet which could do with a little work to bring it up to the standard of the hotel ( 4.5 Star ).the food selection was good but the quality was only average .
The dinner was a different story . They have an A La Carte menu as well as a Tapes Menu . We chose from the tapas menu which was a great choice . The selections were excellent and very tasty .
However the service staff could benefit from some training in service at this level . The service was OK but not 4+ star standard.
Note : We also had room service , while staying at the Novotel , which comes from the same kitchen and again the food was very good .
If they can lift their service level this would be a 4.0 establishment .
