We have been here numerous times and the food is consistently good. Being a vegetarian I recommend the barramundi. Cooked to perfection and with crispy skin . Husband always orders the duck, as its his favourite! We often get the mussels and get extra chilli. Discard the shells and enjoy with the delicious sauce !
My favourite restaurant by far!! Thanks Jason and the team at Preserve!
First time at Preserve Kitchen. We sat upstairs and it had a nice and relaxed ambience to it. Service was very attentive and the food was enjoyable without being especially memorable. For a starter we had the crab croquettes and the zucchini flowers. The zucchini flowers were nicely done, though the blue cheese within was a bit overpowering and unexpected. The crab croquettes had a nice texture, but were light on flavour. For a main the duck leg confit had a beautiful flavour and was cooked to perfection. The cape grim eye fillet was also enjoyable and cooked perfectly. The beetroot relish and sauted spinach worked well in combination. All in all a nice night, but won’t be in a huge rush to go back but would recommend giving it a try.
