I would say this is a better rendition of the grilled chicken than Nandos. A much more flavoursome and juicier chicken. The bowls, wraps and burgers menu options look interesting, will try them next time.

First-time dining at Capricho and admittedly it’s because hubby loves his Nandos and this looked similar! He chose the Capricho burger, chips and a drink (Mexican cola) which came to approx $20.

The burger was impressive when it came out. Neatly stacked, decent size and bun lightly toasted. It was quite a large burger and so on the first bite all the juices came running down. Warning to make sure you have your plate ready to catch it all and not your pants! Taste was great and chicken was fresh. Chips cooked perfectly, no complaints there.

I would try again when we are craving for grilled chicken but will do so sparingly as it is on the steep side for lunch compared to all other options in this food court. Curious to see how the grilled chicken compares though…

I was really excited to try this place at the new but cramped foodcourt in the Glen shopping centre. After all, chicken is my favourite meat.

I ordered the Re-Pollo bowl because the description on the menu was just so enticing. What I got instead was a bit of a horror story.

For the amount I paid, only half the box was filled. The salad looked tired and lifeless. The chicken tenderloins were acceptably cooked but nothing amazing. The habanero dressing lacked the fiery kick I was expecting.

While it was a disappointing first experience, I will return to try something else in the future because of my love for chicken.
