Was here just for drinks and a cake. Nice interior and wasnt busy when we came on Saturday noon. Staff are friendly and it was cool that we can self serve sparkling water or mineral water on the tap. The matcha latte was nice, not too sweet or bitter but quite heavy on the milk. We had also new york cheesecake which was ok. We sat there for a while, good place to chat.
Came here for a light afternoon tea snack but was disappointed by my green tea latte- was very bitter and watery with an unenjoyable grimness upon the top layer of the drink. The cakes, however, particularly the Black Forest was loved by my mum and friend! We also took to tasking the sesame (mouse?) cake which was quite special
Went here for a cuppa and a melamakarouno on Monday. If you like biting into bricks, you’ll like this place. Disgraceful. How can you sell this and call it GREEK? Greek cakes aren’t rock hard. Had to take it back, got my money back and the staff through them straight into the bin. Not fresh. Sorry but this caf looks great from the outside but quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Bought the strawberry and watermelon cake for $9.50 to try and it was quite tasty! Wouldve loved it even more if it held together a bit better but otherwise cant wait to try the burgers next time
This uniquely named cafe with its mesmerising array of cakes attracted me inside. Their display of slices was a feast for my eyes. I was impressed by the friendly service at the counter when I was making my choices.
Unfortunately, everything went down hill from there. The chocolate cake was much too dense and bland. The strawberry chocolate mousse slice had layers of what tasted like stale bread in between disturbingly hard mousse. The tiramisu had an overpowering coffee flavour which made my head spin.
I was really looking forward to the watermelon slices but they turned out to be a ‘mini magic show’ as both the slices I bought began to implode spontaneously.
Astonishingly, there was a clump of egg shells in the blueberry mousse slice! Having paid a premium for these slices (at an average of $9 a slice), this resulted in a whole new level of disappointment.
So I’m afraid in this case, Georgie Porgie did not have to kiss the girls to make them cry:(
Stopped by to grab some breakfast and a coffee on my way to work this morning. The food was tasty and the coffee was pretty good. Reasonably priced menu, and the staff were very friendly.
