A place where I used to work as a part time waiter in my school days. Friendly staffs, generally good food. And now back into the new food area inside the new Glen Centre. It was surprised to see they havent yet raise the price much and they did add new dishes into it. Overall, its definitely a good place for fast Chinese foods, good luck and keep it on William & Joanna!
Whilst waiting for our food from another kiosk at the food court to be ready, my partner wandered around looking for something to snack on in the meantime.
Walking past Li Xiu Kitchen, he couldnt resist getting his favourite Sesame Prawn Toast, and a serving of Pan Fried Pork Dumplings to share.
Looking at the dumplings, they seemed old and tired, so I didnt harbour much hope in them tasting good. Despite the chewy and tough exterior, the fillings were deceptively tasty.
The crispy prawn toast tasted just as good, but the ratios couldve been better with a more generous and evenly spread of prawn paste on the bread.
Given what came of our meals from another stand after, it made us that bit more appreciative of the dumplings and toast despite some shortcomings.
