Yum! Had zero expectations as majority of the reviews were based off previous management but based on my visit last week, Id definitely come back the environment definitely reminded me of Hong Kong. The menu is super extensive and is probably my only critique, as I had to study it for a good five minutes before picking out what I wanted to eat. Service was good, prices were fair. Had a Set A (vegetable and mushroom vermicelli soup & pork in Peking sauce), salted egg chicken, chicken clay pot rice, glutinous rice balls with peanuts and mango dessert (customised).
Everything was delicious, salted egg chicken was super tender and juicy, the vermicelli soup was actually quite refreshing to have but the clay pot rice wasnt even presented in an actual pot. It took some time to come out and raised hopes but came in a normal melamine type of bowl and lid 🙁 glutinous rice balls were a treat – surprise peanut paste inside!

Its a place that I usually visit for a quick dinner. It was a different store before monga take over the place. However the chef didnt change and the menu was mostly the same. When speaking of food, I should give it a 3 star rather than 4, yet the taste is straight and clean for most dishes. Unlike other restaurants, they give the dish some complex ingredients for an special taste, the food here is just ordinary, nothing special, yet more like a home made taste when people try to cook at home. That straight up taste is somehow a specialty of this store, and I quite like it.

A very Hong Kong style 2 person set new I havent experienced for a long time in Glen.

It was a quiet Monday night when we stopped by for dinner, thinking we havent had dinner here before, mostly lunch.

What a pleasant surprise the set dinner for two turns out to be. We chose the set of beef and fish. The set meal comes with rice for two, drinks for two and dessert for two. The fish was whole (big for two) and cooked with lots of condiments. The beef dish was relatively smaller but still enough for two.

It was a very filling and delicious meal and I would recommend anyone to try the dinner here out, especially if you want a true cantonese style meal.
