Great local bakery. Really good sausage rolls. The pastry is nice and flaky. Also a fan of their eclairs and vanilla slices. Good value for everyday lunch if you work or live in the area.
Only dropped by to pick up a caramel macadamia slice. It was one of those generic mass produced slices. Tasted good nonetheless. Quite a lot cheaper than average too, at $2.90!
Mywork and I come here for pork rolls nearly every week, the best in the area! The staff are always friendly and the service is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality sandwich or pastries.
Really lovely couple who own the shop. The sausage rolls are delicious – pastry always melts in your mouth… Also love the mini pizzas! Clean shop with friendly service, couldn’t ask for more for a local bakery.
Nice staff and were always very helpful. Would buy day old loafs from here as well the occasional desert. Competitive price. Plus makes for a nice walk around pinewood.
Sooo excited to try Banh mi (pork rolls) on our own turf hoping for greatness!
We had the regular cold cut ($4.50) and also the pork belly ($5.50).
First of, the baguette wasn’t great. Not so crunchy/crusty.
The pork belly roll was rather bland. Had to bring out the chili from the bag. The regular pork roll was nicer.
Overall, it’s a lot better than Subway (a few doors down). But prefer Springvale or Footscray anytime.
Everything is fresh and immaculately clean.
