Have been here a few times and we had the seafood platter one time and then the meat platter the next. The food is pretty fantastic and you have to make sure you book as it gets pretty crowded!
We also had some crepes to share…super choice!

Can’t go wrong for sweet treats at Piatella. Such a great location. Great indoor and outdoor seating to cater for all weather conditions. Service is good, dessert portions are generous. Good for sharing
Located in the heart of Glen Waverley, this cosy and casual cafe bar hosts an array of platters, cakes and beverages to suit all tastes. As a visitor from the past, what was great had now evolved to be better as the chef’s techniques has created flawless dishes with perfect flavours and textures. Service is amazing and attentive; they were happy to provide a better table without asking during our visit. The ambiance is a mix of wooden and industrial. The front area has a cosy bar feel whereas the back area is brighter and quieter.
This place is one of my favourite cafes in Glen Waverley! I’d come here in the morning for their breakfast menu and then grab some amazing ribs for dinner feast!
Piatella What does heaven look like? Medium – rare steak, with garlic butter and veggies. Well….. thats what my heaven looks like. Piatella never disappoints me, from food to dessert the only thing youre left leaving is 10kgs put on straight to your ass.
Great ambience and attentive at this lovely styled restaurant. Came here to catch up with a friend I always come here to catch up with a friend over their amazing coffees the aroma is there and the thickness in the milk is just right. Tried out the seafood platter and wow that blew me away so many flavours and cooked so well. I’ll definitely be back they pay attention to every detail here.
Came here for a quick catchup with a couple of friends. The chicken avo burger is huge! The burger itself consists of juicy chicken thigh pieces, coleslaw and some avo. Whilst it was delicious at first, it became a bit sickening towards the end.
The side of beer battered chips was delightful, fresh and crunchy! (And also comes with some dipping sauce).
Considering the busy rush on a Sunday afternoon, we found the waiting time for food to be quite reasonable. Staff were friendly and attentive.
