Located in the heart of Glen Waverley where the competition is high, The Grand Tofu serves Malaysian dishes for casual diners with the signature dish of Yong Tofu. Providing a customisable selection of tofu, dumplings, soup base and noodles to customers, their Yong Tofu arrives quickly with generous portions. Their other dishes are quite traditional; you know what you get without any surprises. I’ve visited this place many times and service is always friendly and attentive. Even with a full house, our food still comes out quickly.
We are always on a look out for the best seafood curry Laksa and I think I found it! Great flavour. Rich and not too much coconut which can be a downfall with many. Size can be deceiving. Its in a small bowl but packed with flavour and seafood.
We had a Char Keoey Teow and it was superb. Always very busy so thats a good sign. Great service. Highly recommend giving it a go. Reasonably priced too.
Wonderful Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine in Glen Waverley. The yong tofu is highly recommended as tofu is juicy and tender. The vermicelli with soup is my favorite. I am not the person who likes soy bean milk but I think the hot soy bean milk here worths a try as its smooth and sweet.
