Not Mercure anymore – terrible!. Went there for a special dinner to the new ‘Grill’ – had been there a few years ago and had a nice, kid-friendly meal. This time around the grill was closed and they hadn’t bothered to let us know, the roasts were dry and tough as old boots, they’d run out of light beer and got another drink order wrong, the advertised ‘classic’ desserts weren’t available, the tarts that were available were soggy, the bill was wrong (twice) – and there were only about 5 tables of people there! And when I called the Monday afterwards to let them know, no one called me back. Don’t bother.
