It’s been a while since I was last here was going to pop in for a quick coffee, noticed the place is under new management with a strong emphasis on Vietnamese. I’m a sucker for a bowl of pho so I took a seat and ordered the beef pho. Glad I did, delicious. It appears everyone else was already in the know, the place was busy with most punters part taking in pho including takeaways. Friendly service, but if the word keeps spreading my guess is they might need more staff. 5 stars, would give more if i could.
Going baack, that’s a big YES.
Where to start…
Well this has been a family favourite for a while. My mother in law who lives nearby is a regular and when we were living with the in laws for a while we really developed an appreciation for this local joint.
It’s now run by a Vietnamese family who are very friendly and welcoming. Along with the regular sandwiches you’d find at a place like this, they’ve added their own dishes which have gained them our stamp of approval.
In the summer months I love the BBQ pork rice paper rolls but I’ve also enjoyed their BBQ pork bahn mi rolls and they do a good pulled pork and ‘slaw roll. Miss Four really enjoys the homemade spring rolls.
Today we enjoyed our now favourite dish of all, their pho. As usual I had chicken and hubby had the beef and as always we were very satisfied at the end of our meal. I often compare other phos to this one and most of the time they just don’t surpass the pho I get here. I couldn’t help but notice the amount of pho that was being churned out today. It’s going to be a popular dish come Winter.
The broth is delicious with fresh clean flavours and the noodles were cooked just right. The side of sprouts and Thai basil is always fresh and give you that crunch you want in your pho. It really does gladden the soul and I always feel so good after devouring a bowl of it. I just can’t get enough of it.
If you love pho this a great little place in Greensie to try. You’ll definitely get your $11 worth and some friendly service by staff that actually want you to enjoy everything about your experience there. Get amongst it people!
Hangry Mama no more! Thanks guys!
Ps. This is a kid friendly place 🙂
