Have dined at the Clay Oven quite a few times as a local. We were there last on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. Wood fired pizzas are great, with a special mention for the garlic and cheese focaccia. I ordered the calamari main which was delicious. Other diners at our table had the lasagne, pollo funghi pasta and the spaghetti bolognese. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
This is an ideal local. It seats maybe 30 people and it is noisy and compact. The family running it do a great job of looking after you and its somewhere you take friends for a quick bite. The food was good, needed more sauce on the Parma, but the Risotto and Chicken mains were very tasty and plentiful. Coffee was spot on but desserts are bought in so they are what you would expect…..A great spot when you cant be bothered cooking.
Will be back Im sure. Good quality food, nice family and $80 for 3 adults….
