We used to love this place and come here all the time. However, they must have changed owners as Now it’s Poor customer service, very rude staff, small portions and underseasoned, soggy chips. Couldn’t have been worse if they tried. Definitely won’t be back
When did it get acceptable to pre batter and cook a fish, then heat it up in a deep fat fryer later?! Sure, hand cut chips can be a bridge to far, but is that what fish and chips have now become? The worst pub fish and chips I’ve had was far better than here, because the get a fresh fish, dunk it in batter, bang it straight into the fryer.
Staff, service was very good, but the product was very poor.
