A friend and I came here for dinner on her suggestion as it is local to her and she often picks up food from here takeaway. The staff were very friendly but the decor is quite sparse with not much in the way of atmosphere. We ordered a selection of things to share including prawn gyouzas which always delight me when I find them on the menu (most places have pork gyouza, Shiki has both). Sashimi was delicious and fresh and the tempura prawns had a lovely light crispy batter. We loved the chicken katsu too

It was our first time visited and we were quite disappointed because the staff apparently wasn’t very familiar with their menu and food. I was just trying to know how big the house special sushi was, it seemed no one could tell me. They kept telling me how many piece of sashimi it has but all I wanna know was the roughly number of sushi thingy in the sushi boat. So, two staffs were failed, the chef came out and explained last.

The raw oyster and sashimi were great but the rest of sushi and food were terrible. The Japanese sweeten egg wasn’t sweet & overcooked, seaweed wasn’t crunchy and seemingly had left for a long time. Sushi wasn’t fresh, rice was too sticky like sticky rice.

Beside that, they took age to make us a spicy salad while the salad wasn’t fresh at all. Very disappointed.

Been hear heaps and it has never let us down. Eggplant with miso and wafu steak always hit the mark. Friday and Saturday nights can get busy but worth the wait. Just enjoy a Sapporo.

Rated 3.9 we expected some nice food yesterday. Unfortunately below average food, no flavour to the dishes and it didn’t taste fresh. Skipped dessert. Friendly service though. Won’t be back.

Food was lovely, good sized portions, and were able to cater for walk-in customers. Workers looked very worked off their feet though, and as such meals were a long wait. All in all we had a great time, thank you.

Haven’t been awhile, but went tonight and was really disappointed. Food took ages to come out, service was average, and when the food did come out everything was way too salty. Wasn’t just us either, so many people actually left after their entrees. Has there been a in management? Won’t be back unfortunately.
