Amazing food!! Best tempura ever. So crispy and light. Sushis are amazing and all made to order. Was delicious and very fresh. Shiki has been around years and so it should be! Its much better than the new all you can eat japanese next door that uses a lot of frozen products. Shiki definitely for the win. The banquets and hot pots are also great!!! Will be making a regular appearance. <3
Awful. Our normal Japanese was shut, made mistake of going here. Maccas would have been better. Tonkatsu was ok but a bit oily. Harumaki tasteless. Tempura was the worse particularly the fish, oily and claggy and bland. Our rice was brown in parts where they had clearly scrapped from the bottom of a pan. Service was dismissive. And all Chinese not Japanese. Having a drink to get rid of taste.
In a word – delicious!!! Sashimi is always fresh, love the gyoza, nabeyaki udon is a favourite. Portions just right. Can’t go wrong here. Service is nice too.
