Damn surprised with the quality of service and food here. My partner was impressed by his parma, which he orders EVERY time we have a pub meal, so I consider him an aficionado. Unfortunately the duck special was sold out, but the waitress and kitchen were very accommodating by changing duck for pork loin as I was so keen on the red cabbage and dumping side. The chef is German so I figured I was on a winner. Delicious!Fantastic to see such great pub food and service in such a small town.
The crowds of Easter had left so it was time to dine somewhere nice and warm in a chilly April evening. This large pub just out of town has a large dining room that accommodates a lot of people. The menu is extensive and worth checking the specials board as well. Tonight for my colleague was a steak and I had a mezze plate. Delicious. Portion size was good. Order drinks and meals at the bar. Prices aren’t cheap but the food it good. You can sit in the dining room and see the kangaroos and emus at dusk. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Prams and stroller accessible. Good parking.
