Yum!! Friday night, ate in, food, service and the open fire all impressive. Decided to return on the Saturday night and it was booked out so we ordered takeaway. Samosa, Naan, Sag Aloo, and Chicken Makhani , full of colour, flavours and delicious. Just what we needed after a huge day of walking. Great weekend.
Though I could not add more pics of the food, however everything was awesome. We walked to this place on a chilly winter night and to our relief, the place was warm and cozy. The ambience has more Rajasthani feel than punjabi, however the spirit of punjabi tadka was there. The onion rings with tea was heaven and so was the pulao and chicken dishes. Lamb roganjosh was awesome!
Who would’ve thought you could get great Indian food in the middle of Halls Gap? We ordered takeaway food and it was prepared in a reasonable time and nicely packaged up. Tandoori chicken, beef curry and lamb saag. Plus roti that needed to accommodate a lactose intolerant. Everything was fresh and tasty and we ordered it to be medium hot in spice which it was. Prices are reasonable considering the location. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Restaurant was busy when food picked up which shows that this place has a good reputation. I’ve drive past the restaurant and it certainly looks inviting. Will return.
