Food quality down, prices quite a lot up. These are the reasons for which it has become fairly unpopular. This was one of the best yum cha and Chinese restaurants in Melbourne. I warmly suggest to the owner to lower the BYO charge, which is definitely excessive and to go back to serve the nice food which was served until a few months ago. It looks like this place is on the road to closure.

I always seem to end up choosing too many, but always seems to eat them all.Loved every bite. Thanks for lunch 🙂
I have known this place for years and even since it opened it was expensive but not very good. It changed sveral owners without changing quality. I looked at the latest reviews and I decided to try it again. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Nice ambience, excellent food and service at the pertinent prices. Byo as well as licensed. Just a small remark: the beef tripe, while very nicely prepared, could be a little more cooked. I can certainly recommend this restaurant and I will go back. Update 02/07/ 2019: DISASTER!!! the place seems and looks the same, but the food has gone down in quality to below average. I cannot believe it! Never again!
The challenge was to find a restaurant open on Christmas Day offering à la carte menu and not an event special! Luckily we found Favourite Kitchen who filled the criteria and, as a bonus, also served yum cha! I have visited in the past so knew the food was pretty good, as it was today. It was also pleasing to find a new manager and service friendlier!
