3.5. The pizzas from Fazio’s are pretty good, with the Calabria my fav of the ones we ordered. The Abruzzi and Genoa were also nice. It may not be my fav pizza joint in Melbourne, but would recommend if you’re in the area.
Came with a group for dinner. Ordered a small size pizza for myself and antipasti to share. The pizzas are Woodfired (the only way to eat real pizza). The base was super soft, and nice and crispy. Plenty of toppings on the pizza but the olives I found where too salty too eat. Maybe there were too many of them on the pizza, and sometimes a little can go a long way. I ended up taking the olives off and just ate the pizza with the ham and mushrooms, which later lacked the saltiness from the olives. My husband had the pizza from specials board which he said was one of the best pizzas hes had in Melbourne. Had a lot of really good flavours. Staff were super friendly, our waitress apologised many times for not being attentive enough due to having a large number of coffee orders. So was very happy with the service. Overall good experience.
