Excellent service . Food wise its not great but one
Of the better ones in Melbourne. Mixed tandoori platter chicken and lamb was good , fish was average. Biryani though not authentic had good chunk of meat and flavour was good . The naan and chicken tikka masala
were average. Dessert pista kulfi was rather bland. Taste
Wise this isnt close to authentic Indian fare but for
What its worth its good . Pricey but service is worth the
    Extra .

High quality meats used in curries.
Was happy to see meat being used not off cuts and bones. The butter chicken was a standout with a lovely smoky aftertone to it. My only gripe is that the spice level is for white people. The hot vindaloo was no spicier than some mild chilli sauce .
Ramp up the chilli one level and this would be amazing

Second time at roti boti and it just gets better…it really is perfect in every way .
We ordered the tandoori platter for two as entree which was an amazing mixture of Smokey BBQ chicken, lamb skewers lamb chopand fish all served on a sizzling plate my fianc devoured all the meat and I had the fish which just melted In my Mouth … It was food heaven.
Service was slow in the beginning
Although Im saying that customers all
Arrived at once aAnd the poor staff
Were really run off their feet…
The mains were perfect . I chose the butter prawns which is the same as butter chicken but prawns. Indian does not get better than this place … the rice and garlic roti were just the right accompaniment, and my partners goat curry was devoured so quickly I hardly got the chance To see it.
What made an impression more than
the food itself was the ambience . The owner and his wife Are so polite kind and well spoken and oh the elephant out the front is such a perfect entry with his trunk up in the air. The aromatic fragrance of soothing incence greets you as you walk in. Love this place

BIG favourite with the fam!!! honestly some of the best indianever eaten, worth the $$$$. there is one waiter who is just the nicest person ever, think he might be head waiter? service is amazing, was happy to point out food that could be made vegan!! we go here all the time and wont stop.

100% recommend: kabuliroti, pumpkin bhaji, aloo baingan and pakoras!!!

Another Restaurant catering mainly to the local population which seems to be that of Non-Indians. No authenticity in the dishes unfortunately. Extensive wait times even for food pick up during weekend period. Breads are OK. Chicken Korma and Tikka Masala were below average.

Our family have been dining at Roti Boti for a number of years. Having dined at numerous Indians restaurants throughout the country, we say with confidence that Roti Boti is the best Indian restaurant in Australia. There are many good Indian restaurants that get the food right but Roti Boti does so much more. It is able to offer the very best dining experience. The service is exceptionally good. Nitin, Bharathi and Vinit are great hosts who make you feel welcome and special every single time.
We highly recommend trying Kumkurare mushrooms, Miloni tharkare, Methi malai Chicken and Thardka Dhal-our favourite dishes.

Waited an hour between entree and main courses. When this was pointed out to the waitress, she returned to the table and contradicted me in front of friend that her computer showed only a 20 minute wait. We all scoffed to ourselves – very embarrassing. The food was OK but the service was dreadful. Having waited so long, we decided against ordering more despite being very hungry. We figured that a snack at home or a burger was a better option. After living in the area for more than 30 years, this was our first time at RB – and the last!
