What a lovely night. The place looked cozy and spacious. The staff are attentive and gave us great recommendations.
For entre we had the steak tartare, escargots and mussels. I loved the escargot in the garlic butter! They were massive and super flavourful. Thank goodness there was lots of bread on the side because I used it to dip in to the remaining garlic butter – didnt want to waste it. Mussels were superb in the white wine cream sauce. Super generous and thought the sauce was beautiful. Steak tartare was fresh but it was on the bland side. Still enjoyed it though.
For mains I had the eye fillet with pepper sauce. The stead was cooked to PERFECTION. Beautifully medium rare and oh my goodness, the pepper sauce – BEST pepper sauce I have ever had.
For desserts I smashed down a creme brle because I love me some good french creme brle. It was so smooth and well balanced. Abolustely loved everything.
