Came here for a lunch with a group of colleagues… we sat in the dining area… service was good but the food was fairly average. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and I would say it is on par with the quality of the wraps from McDonald’s… fairly tasty, filling but not overly exciting. Next time, I may try a pub classic, like a parma in hope that it is a little better than average.
Absolutely amazing gluten free pub – where the few non-gluten free items are marked on the menu, and EVERYTHING ELSE is gluten free!!! Since being diagnosed as a coeliac, my partner has never felt so comfortable and normal eating out. We had the Korean Fried Chicken, Chicken Parma and Porterhouse Steak. The KFC was a touch dry, but the steak and parma were faultless. The Parma was so crispy and juicy it was one of the best weve had, period!
The best thing about the Beehive Hotel is that its a totally normal pub serving excellent food that you wouldnt think was gluten free, making it the perfect place for coeliacs and non-coeliacs alike!
