Blood Orange features a cute shop at the front of the premises and a great seating area for the cafe at the back. There is plenty of seating indoors, plus a lovely outdoor area with umbrellas for shade. Lots of natural light to add to the ambience.
The coffee was okay, but the food was the highlight. The dishes were very well flavoured and interesting. Though some of the dishes sounded like ‘standard’ brunch offerings, they were actually really tasty and had a depth of flavour that not all other cafes serve. The baked eggs was definitely an example of this – lots of interesting tastes and very enjoyable. The dukkah eggs were deliciously crispy on the outside and the pumpkin was amazing!
We all enjoyed our lunch here at Blood Orange, and would recommended visiting at some stage!
