I had heard they went broke before. Now I know why! Who wants dry bready stale donuts? No way is that worth the asking price, but frankly I wouldn’t take it if it was free! So many good doughnut places in Melbourne, this one deserves a miss.
So happy to see Doughnut Time open on busy Glenferrie Road, as it’s the perfect place to pop in for a sweet treat. With it’s signature green decor and boxes, it was a welcome sight when I passed by recently. I’ve been a fan of these donuts for a while, and even though they are on the expensive side, they are so worth it.These fluffy donuts come in a gorgeous array of flavours and are decorated beautifully. They taste divine, and aren’t sickenlingly sweet like some donuts. I had a ‘chai n dirty’ donut and the spice of the chai worked really well. I found the service to be really friendly and swift, and I will be happily returning to try more of the amazing flavours.
6,60 for a doughnut and it is not fresh. I guess al the hype for “doughnuts” just ruined something that was good. Next time I will just some doughnuts from woolies at least they are cheap and don’t taste stale.
$6.60 for a doughnut, and it was stale. Sorry guys, I won’t be back! There’s not much else to say about a dodgy doughnut, but I need to write 140 words for my review to be posted.
