A truly solid place to have a decent feed. You can’t go wrong with their fish and chips, made with thin pieces of King George whiting. Their pasta is pretty good as well, I’ve enjoyed their pumpkin gnocchi.
The only advantage I can possibly see in having to work back and then missing my train by about a minute is I had over twenty minutes to fill in before the next train home. Just enough time for a walk up from Hawthorn station and into the Elgin for a very quick pint. I love this place but have only ever come for a drink here and there and the chips… I pledge to come back for a real meal sometime soon when I have a little more time on my hand
Fantastic place to eat too many delicious choices to select. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Very relaxed place to be on a sunny afternoon. Will head upstairs next visit
