We came here on a Sunday morning hoping for some tasty buttery pastries. Unfortunately what we were served was basically on par with bakers delight but at twice the price and thats saying something. We tried both the croissants and the danishes and neither of them left a lasting impression. Whats on offer looks delicious, however this is one of those places which is all show and no go.
Gontran Cherrier had a stall set up at Bastille Day yesterday and I couldn’t resist a pain au chocolat. I bought this along with a normal croissant and some sour dough bread, which I am looking forward to having with my morning breaky!
The pain au chocolat was really enjoyable and I highly recommend.
Had 3 pastries and took home one loaf of their bread. The pastry was pretty soggy and lacking in flavour. The tart was edible but very bland for 7.50. The bread was pretty much on par with bakers delight. No way they would accept this crap in France.
