Dropped into Huckleberry yesterday afternoon, couldnt find anything else nearby worth trying. This place presented a nice little surprise. Apart from being a bit cramped, the food and service were both quite pleasant. My better half and I shared a few sliders, there was chicken, vegetarian, beef and a Thai chicken (I think) all very nice and the chips were great. Will definitely drop in again when next in the area.
I ordered their chilli eggs and a long black coffee. The chilli eggs was delicious with their homemade chilli oil and hints of persian feta… Plus it was actually spicy! (Not a lot of places make their chilli eggs spicy) The coffee was also great.
On top of great breakfast choices, there are a myriad of homemade baked goods on display as well as fresh salads and small lunch items.
Friendly staff. I had tandoori chicken focaccia, chai latte and my husband had beef burger, ginger fruits juice. My focaccia was good but my chai latte was too sweet I understand I asked for stronger flavour but I didn’t want it too sweet. My husband really like his burger. He think that was classic Aussie burger.
