We loved this restaurant. A newbie in our area so we thought wed give it a go. First good sign was plenty of customers from India already eating, good judges of quality!
The food is from south India, so plenty there that Australians are less familiar with. We found it hard to fault anything, especially as they are still so new. And the pricing is very fair, we paid $60 per couple for more food than we could finish. We will be regulars I think.
Dear husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner and we ordered
– Mutton sukka varuval
– Vazhai ilai vajra fry
– Kara kuzhi paniyaram (served with a yummy garlic chutney)
– Madurai kari dosai
All of those dishes were yumm and had the
authentic South Indian taste to it. We enjoyed what we had and would definitely visit this place again.
Hawthorn and Melbourne has just gotten a really fantastic new Indian Restaurant.
Inka has been brave enough to serve Indian food like it should be served.
Full of flavour, full of spice and a serve that makes you very happy you choose to eat here.
Service is courteous and polite. The entrees arrived as entrees. Followed by mains. Then desert.
All dishes cooked to order and not out of the Bain Marie.

Every dish made with different spices and it is so obvious that the chef knows his cuisine.
