AMAZING! I highly recommend this place to everyone. Their fish was fresh and hot chips were tasty. Fish and chips were so delicious and crispy but it wasn’t greasy at all. It was one of the best fish and chips I ever had. More importantly, I want to let everyone know that not only they have good fish and chips but staff members at Jimmy buouys are superb. Staff was very friendly and their customer service was excellent. I was having a busy day and I wasn’t the happiest customer but he had a good sense of humour and made me laugh. I left my wallet at their store but one of the staff members (I am assuming he is the owner and I cannot remember his name) came to deliver my wallet to my house. I just cannot thank you enough. If you get the chance check this place out. I would definitely come back here again. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
Unfortunately did not have a good experience, walked past on my lunch break on a beautiful day and decided to just get the lunch fish and chips pack they had on special as take-away to have in the park. I ordered my fish grilled, and took a seat at the desk to wait for them to prepare it. After 15 minutes of watching the grill being empty while the cook focused on the deep fryers I tried to get someone’s attention but everyone was busy, not sure with what exactly as the shop was quite empty. I eventually left without my lunch that I already paid for, after almost 30 minutes as I had to get back to work.
I was just walking by and decided to pop in for some grilled fish, and added some calamari rings and a seafood stick. The fish was sooooo fresh! I knew they used all fresh produce, but the fish blew my mind. I would highly recommend coming here if you like grilled flake! The calamari was also so fresh, and soft too. The seafood stick was probably the only letdown, as the batter surrounding it was very heavy and oily. But I would definitely come back here for my seafood fix!!
