We all enjoyed the delicious, innovative food – beautifully served. The service couldn’t have been better and the ambience is great. Definitely an outstanding cafe
We absolutely loved our visit here. We were greeted by a lovely lady who sat down and too the time to go through the menu. This sort of service is rare, so we appreciated this. We ordered the hotcakes, the panacotta and the Avocado on toast. It was all well presented and tasted incredible! Recommend the hotcakes (even as a third dish to share)!
Such a good brunch spot that has a wonderful courtyard. Plants and wooden decorations make me feel that I am really close to nature. Cant love the atmosphere more!
It is said that the sweet potato rosti is good. But today it is so popular that it had been sold out. What a pity! So I order a seafood linguine, which turns out to be extremely fresh and tasty. Pasta is neither too creamy nor too light. It is just perfect as it looks.
Buttermilk hotcake is too sweet for me, however the yuzu curd gives the dish a balanced flavor. Yuzu is always my favorite flavor.
The Delish juicecontains pineapple and orange. It is so nice. Such a good choice for summer. Simple ingredients makes perfect. Really love it.
The coffee is average. The cold brew is not clear and refreshing.

Had a really great time at Le Clec today! I ordered 3 dishes which are new – the Le Clec salad, poke bowl & granola. They were all delicious and plated really nicely! My fave would definitely have to be their Le Clec salad which had a really tender thinly sliced beef fillet & a super yummy chilli jam (highly recommended)! I also ordered the ice matcha latte with ice cream which was perfect in this warmer weather.
The staff were all super nice and welcoming too – do sit in the courtyard at the back guys!
What a beautiful cafe in Hawthorn with all the choices! There are so many nice cosy areas to sit, you can people watch near the window at the front or sit in the pretty little courtyard out back.
Le Clec have a creative wine rack and lovely aqua crockery. It is also a little bit cheaper than a lot of cafes in the area and they take bookings (even on weekends).
The food is really good too! I had the Buttermilk Hotcakes, some of the tastiest in Melbourne and the plating was superb.
The granola was also a great choice served with a mango Pannacotta- yum!!
But you cant go pass the sweet potato rosti- its been on the menu for awhile and there is a reason for that!
I love that I can walk to this cafe!! Cant wait to return soon. Thank you team 🙂
