A lovely cafe with a heap of seats and some amazing bakery items. Coffee was by far the better of the cafes on this Power Street intersection at was strong and flavoursome with a nice nuttiness. I also tried the almond croissant which was as good as Lunes version, soft and light yet with a delicious crunch. Would have rated much higher but the service was a little bit average. Got stuck behind a lady who had just ordered 12 coffees for her office. You would think as I was the only other person in the shop with a coffee order they might have been able to sneak my sole latte ahead to avoid me waiting as long as I did but that didnt seemed to be considered by the staff behind the machine who didnt seem in any rush at all… unlike myself.

If it was to be judged on food alone, then this place could be a 4 or even a 5 (donut was to die for) but I had to knock back the score due to the slow service from the kitchen (took ages for the calamari to come out) and relatively inattentive staff.

Interior was a nice surprise. Wide selection in the cupboard and menu. The salt and pepper calamari was my favourite. Had an almost sweet and sour flavour to it which I really liked. The Portuguese tart went really well with the coffee

This cafe is set in a beautifully designed split level corner spot. The provincial style interior sets the scene for a quality experience.

    Coffee is by dimattina.

Pastry’s and baked goods made inhouse.

Traditional breakfast options, with an indulgent Eggs Benedict .
