I started going to Supa Bar earlier this year because it was on campus and I was curious to try. I was a bit intimidated by the other customers and staff at first, but the first meal I had there (Donkatsu Noodle) calmed me right down. Supa Bar was the first restaurant/caf shop I had eaten at by myself, and what a intimidating-turned-calming time it was!
I still eat out here today. The staff remembered me and that felt welcoming; they also remembered my meal choices and asked if I wanted one or the other, which was also pleasing to hear.
Im glad Im a Swinburne student.

I ordered a medium-sized latte for $4. I also had a slice of carrot cake which I ate while waiting on the latte. It was average tasting. Slightly dry.
A very pale green beverage was placed in front of me. I initially assumed it looked pale due to the lighting in the cafe. Then at the first sip, I realised it was nothing, but very sweet green milk with barely any trace of matcha.
The plus side was that it was not expensive and the staff were very friendly.
SupaBar is my go-to for the best matcha latte in Hawthorn and for awesome sushi hand rolls to have on the run. I’m not at Swinburne often, but when I am I will always come to SupaBar because the service is amazing, especially considering it’s a ‘uni town’.

Had a very satisfying lunch here, the chicken parma came with a little salad and some chips. Not over cooked or dry, the salad was crisp. For under 10$ I’m very pleased with this place. Generally I only grab a coffee here but I may come back more occasionally for lunch!
I nice little cafe on Swinburne Hawthorn’s campus. The service is very fast and the staff always greet you with a smile. The coffee is great and reliably tastes the same every time you visit.
