  Providing great coffee and good food, consistently
  There are many things to love about Zane. It is essentially run out of a hole in the wall but manages to pack a lot into a small space.

  They are open early to accommodate commuters and the services is very friendly and speedy.

  The coffee is consistently great and they manage to serve customers quickly without compromising quality.

  There is a good selection of take away sandwiches, wraps and sweet treats.

  Food 3* good food
  Coffee 4* consistently good coffee
  Ambience: 4* very friendly and welcoming

  Stopped into Zane when I unexpectedly had to get off the train at Glenferrie station because the train I was on was expressing past my normal stop. Zane was right next the the northern entrance and offered a hole in the wall coffee service as well as outside dining and a substantial cabinet inside the shop with pre-made sandwiches and cakes. I took advantage of the lunchtime special of a coffee and toasted salmon bagel for $10.90 and sat outside on a small squat table to eat. The toasted salmon bagel was delicious and came with tomato, cheese, and greens. A perfect light lunch and the coffee was reasonable as well. Staff were friendly and helpful although they were on constant vigil of people using their tables without ordering their food (seating was in very short supply).
