When asked I was told The ‘roast of the day’ was turkey. The roast of the day is in fact processed turkey. I can’t eat processed foods. If it’s on the menu it should advise it’s PROCESSED or its ‘pretend turkey’ or ‘turkey spam’ if it doesn’t have wings, feet or bones it’s NOT TURKEY! How hard is it to roast a proper bird!

Chicken Camembert. Yum!!
Food is always good. The Commercial is a regular for us. The standard is always good and the staff are friendly. The chicken camembert is awesome and the steaks are huge!!
Just called in for a quick beer – nice atmosphere and a small but interesting menu. Will return for lunch soon. Great service too.
DELICIOUS!. As always, the Commercial Hotel continue to pump out great meals.
Went there the other Monday night, and had the Rissoles with veg, and they were smashing! Massive, juicy rissoles, drown in delicious gravy, with veggies from the bain marie! just delicious! At a cost of $15.00.
One of my friends had the special ($21), which was prawn and marinated, grilled chicken salad, with avo and mango and a spicy dressing. She received a huge serving, and was really happy with the meal.
Another friend had the traditional chicken parma, and it was enormous! Generous serving of salad and chips, and a parmi that took up half of an large, oval plate. I think this was $18-$20. very generous for the price.
I totally recommend the Commercial Hotel. The only downside is that there are no coffees/teas available, which would be nice to finish on. However, the meals are absolute crackers, and well worth the outing.
