New Winter Opening Hours are 0830-5pm every day, other than Friday when it’s open until 8pm. The best food, wine, coffee, deli and pantry items in Heathcote! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and there’s a roaring fire in the Winter months in the Cafe, and beautiful outside dining area which is a great play area for children, and is doggie-friendly too!
Local wine tastings, cheese platters, cakes and a beautiful outdoor setting in Autumn, the Heathcote Cellar Door was the only cellar open for wine tastings late Saturday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The venue, especially the outdoor area which features live music during the weekends was very pretty and accommodating for big groups. Highly recommend stopping by the Heathcote Wine Hub whilst visiting the region!
Fantastic place. Very nicely set out. Vast array of great wines on offer. Generous service. We bought some pricey wines and some lower end stuff. Service was friendly and non intrusive. This is a great way to promote Heathcote and the wider area. We will definitely return.
Good in house, home cooked food. Friendly service. Dog friendly outside. Only bad thing was a bird dropped one down the bottle 🙂 will come back.
Great. I stop coming to this place for a while and gave it a very bad review on my previous visit, as the female manager was so rude, needs to know how to treat staff that were doing a wonderful job. Any manager that belittles staff in front of customers is clearly in the wrong job. She constantly interrupted the lovely staff member that was assisting me with my purchase wine. And twice actually shoved the staff member out of the way and told her to find something else to do. As a manager myself, I would never treat a person with such contempt let alone a staff member. Appalling display
On a more positive note, I was walking past this store recently and noticed it was under new management. I will always stop at this place on my way through, must say the new guys running it are wonderful! Food is great! and the staff are wonderful. We will be coming back for the wonderful wine, food, and amazing staff ohhh ohhh and the Wine 5 stars
The BEST find in Heathcote. While visiting the Heathcote region we came across the Heathcote Wine Hub what a great find! We were welcomed by hosts Chris and Steve who were friendly and well informed about the local wines, which where all very good. The tasting is extensive and detailed and the venue, was relaxing and rustic. for the non drinkers the coffee is the best in the area and the food while not extensive was excellent local products. We had a wonderful afternoon sharing both information, opinions and general banter with two of the nicest hosts we have met and we can’t wait to return! Neen and Martin, Catherine and Duncan
Just the thing. Previously known only as Cellar & Store. Any lunchtime. Small menu of good food and plentiful tasting platters. Very well chosen great wines by the glass. Enormous choice of excellent local wines. Bendigo/Heathcote is really the shiraz capital. Low key indoor and backyard dining. Staff congenial and helpful.
