Chili oil dumplings are a hit , do try them! Under new management, much better, new menu on the way (late Feb). Glad we stumbled across here. It’s not CBD quality but you’re not paying CBD prices and it’s much more relaxed. The Manager is great, very accomodating . Fried chicken ribs are a winner also!

And as I was eating the vegetarian dumplings I came across a metal washer in the dumpling that hurt my tooth.
I am very concerned about how this ended up in the dumpling.
Very disappointing.

I had the chilli oil dumplings. Fantastic! A medium spicy home made sweet chilli oil with a hint of star of anise just the way the northern Chinese like it. Good sized dumplings with sesame seeds. Nice!
Polite staff and happy to chat.
A small plainly finished place with food that is bang for your buck. Worth a visit!
We are local diners here and have been here 3 times as a family and just love it. Service is just outstanding for an Asian restaurant (I’m Chinese and let me tell you their level of friendliness is not expected!) their food is authentic and the Sichuan style dishes are addictive. We always get their homemade dumplings and it’s served in soup – which just makes the whole experience nourishing. The other top dishes are chilli beef, fried eggplant and salt and pepper chicken. Well I say top dishes, they’re the only things we’ve tried thus far so keen to keep coming here to dine! Ps we come with our one year old and they are so warm and friendly to her which is awesome, most restaurants kinda give you the glaze over when you ask for a high chair.
