A modest but pleasant cafe, with good friendly service, and good coffee. They were happy enough to modify my veggie breakfast order. Food was okay. Decor is a little utilitarian.

This is my local daily coffee-stop, after moving from QLD to VIC and trying lot’s of places I have found this to be the ‘Best’ coffee around! The food is Great too – home-cooked, fresh & very tasty – the menu extensive, my daughter still ‘raves’ about the ‘Grilled Chicken’ Foccacia Connie made her! Johnny is the barista/owner and is a master of his trade – I highly recommend this caf – give it a go!

Tried this recently and wasn’t impressed. Food bland and uninspiring… Coffee average and my friend had a juice that had pips in it.. So fresh I guess.
Highett has plenty to offer these days and this place offered A cooked breakfast in the most uninspiring old fashioned manner of plonking uncared for food on a plate

Good service Bad coffee. We were looking for a spot to eat when the barista waved us from inside the shop and welcomed us – very nice gesture. We were impressed to see $10 breakfast options. Ordered Eggs on toast + bacon and two strong lattes. When the food arrived, the eggs were cooked quite well (no runny whites), but the coffees were bitter and not pleasant at all. They use Dimattina coffee which is not my favourite and the barista didn’t do a good job either. I actually saw him re-heat the leftover milk from a previous order. Appalling. I’d avoid their coffee if possible.

Cafe lover. The staff are lovely. The young waitress we had was so friendly and helpful. The coffee is great!

Delish coffee. Friendly service, excellent coffee, haven’t eaten here yet, but the menu looks pretty good.
    My new regular!
