Started with cocktails, Hanpi spring rolls & eggplant chips (yummo) at Hawker then stolled next door gor braised beef & Nguyen chicken washed down with a Gypsy cider. Delicious. Quick service for a Friday night. So lucky to have this my local.

Theres no other place with vibe, drinks and food in Highett on a Saturday night.
Love the eggplant chips from Typhoon.
Always a good crowd, friendly staff and delicious drinks. Nothing in Sandringham like this.

Loved the food here, I’m GF so haven’t had a spring roil in a loooong time. Only downside is the seating I would have loved to sit opposite my partner not beside them at the window bar.

Have been twice now for Pho. Both times, the Beef Pho has been delicious! Friendly staff and the food comes out really quickly. Can’t wait to go back and try all the other food, the menu looks great! Would definitely recommend Hawker Typhoon.

Reasonably priced – good venue, but the food – hit and miss. Rolls were great – Pho lacked flavour – hadn’t let base develop so might as well have been drinking chicken or beef broth

The bar section is cool and great for a drink but the food next door at Typhoon is terrible. The chicken with rice was cold and had no flavor, the pho is not authentic and it’s expensive for what you get. I would just stick with entrees and wine (which is average $11 a glass). Let’s remember it’s Highett and not the city.
