Been here a few times when in Geelong. The service is very good and the food is delicious. Highly recommend and will return next time Im down that way.
Its fast becoming my favourite breakfast place, why so far away? I had a green pressed juice as well as the berry smoothie (vegan) knowing I wouldnt be back for awhile. Husband went boring despite all the yummy options and ordered avocado toast. I opted for pancakes because I figured something sweet was justifiable given my choice of beverage and they were absolutely perfect. Gorgeous presentation and delicious flavours. Could not fault it
I recently took my elderly mother there for breakfast and the food and service was fantastic. It was my second visit in a couple of weeks and I’ll certainly be back. It is easily Highton’s best cafe.
This score is for service mainly… I ordered over $300 worth of catering for my baby shower at the star of December. Sadly, 20 Wagu beef sliders were inedible due to the amount of salt as commented by my guests and my own tasting. The presentation and remainder of the food was great. When I returned the crate they had provided the food on, I explained the above to one of the girls at the front counter, the response well… was everything else fine though? And blank look on her face as if I was being a nuisance was really disappointing. No real apology… nothing! We have just moved to Highton from Melbourne, and were looking forward to having a new local coffee spot, but after this experience we have moved on.
My best friend and I frequent the Highton 63 Degrees every week, and it is our absolute favourite. She originally introduced me to it when we first became friends, and we’ve made it part of our weekly routine for almost a year now I think! Whether it’s for brekky or lunch, we adore the people who work there and the food and drinks they serve! Always such a great atmosphere. I’ve never experienced it being too busy to get a table, nor too quiet that we’re the only people there. It’s the perfect spot for chats, good coffee (their hot chocolate is my fave), and delicious food. Can’t recommend enough!
Stopped in for a birthday treat for my daughter and we waited over 20mins to be served. I had a baby also, so time was of essence. A large group of people then walked in after we did and were all served for coffee and drinks immediately, which shocked me. The food was okay, but im not sure I would go back and tolerate a long wait or poor service for the food. It is a shame as it has the potential to be more than a mecca for real estate ‘professionals’.
I’m unsure why I keep coming back here. The service is absolutely appalling… almost 20min wait for a take away coffee. The barista seems too cool to take orders and a poor girl waiting beside me has had to ask for her take away slice 4 times… and she is still waiting. I think this is the last straw today. I encourage others to boycott 63 degrees as the food is good but not worth the ridiculous waiting time/ poor service. It’s such a shame as this place has so much potential..
