Lovely place however its very noisy – difficult to hear people youre sitting across the room from. I ordered a big breaky and it wasnt nice. Presentation was great but hash brown tasted pre cooked and mushrooms were stringy. I wouldnt rush back
Was looking for a cozy cafe to escape the chilling winter air for myself and hubby and stumbled across 63 Degrees. Had high hopes, as the coffee was great, but was extremely disappointed with the food. Hubby ordered scrambled eggs, feta and greens w/ sourdough. I ordered poached eggs, with bacon, tomato + mushrooms, hollandaise w/ sourdough. The bread was extremely hard and dry – really more of a cracker. The hollandaise was sour – a result of using too much vinegar. And the greens were brown…the food was extremely average (barely adequate with all the other great brunch options on Pakington). In addition, the wait staff were slow to take orders and kept leaving the front door open allowing the warm air to escape and cold air in. This wouldnt be such an issue in summer, but undermines any effort to create a cozy and warm ambience. Will only be back for takeaway coffee.
