  My partner, mum and I had lunch at The Bull and mouth on Friday afternoon and I must say, we were all very pleased. Mum ordered the flathead tails which were done in a light and crisp beer batter. The fish was delicious. My partner had the chicken and mushroom linguine. Pasta was al dente, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the dish was bursting with flavour. I had the Thai beef salad with crispy noodles. The beef itself was a bit chewy, but the flavours were punchy and the crispy noodles were great. We were greeted cheerily by the man behind the bar when we walked in and our meals were delivered quickly to the beer garden by a friendly waitress. Great food at a great country pub!

  Was very nice experience, better than expected in a country town. We had garlic cheese loaf, prawn linguine and lamb shoulders. Food was great, and came on time (doesn’t need to wait for too long). You’ll expect a pub to be very noisy in the evening during summer days but was ok (maybe today was too hot, 40 degree). We were sitting at the pub area with tall chairs close to the door. Overall was a great and satisfied experience – cool drinks with good food and good dinning environment.

  Where the food is bigger than the mouthWas recommended by a local to try out this place whilst passing through Horsham. Although the menu was quite standard for a pub, the portion size was definitely larger than life. Add in the busy atmosphere and a good selection of beers on tap, the Bull & Mouth serves up a classic pub experience. Tried* Aussie Chicken Parma – Enormous serving of battered chicken breast, topped with bacon, cheese and Napolitana sauce. For the whimpers, there is a ‘ladies’ serving size. Only downside was that the bacon was not crispy, as the menu described. * Scotch Fillet Steak – 350g of steak accompanied nicely by a garlic butter sauce and roasted sweet potates. Steak was cooked perfectly but could’ve used little more seasoning. Verdict* Taste: 3.5/5* Price: $$$ – bit on the pricier side but justified through decent portion sizes* Menu: 3/5 – decent selection of food and beers* Ambience: 3/5 – good energy on weekend nights and attracts a mixture of ages

  Unbelievable. We stopped in during a long journey on a Friday night, no booking, mid dinner service. We were seated straight away and as we were in a bit of a hurry we ordered our meals immediately. The entree and kids meals were out within 10 minutes. Our huge meals were another 15 minutes later. Amazing timing considering how busy the place was. Food was absolutely delicious (you must try the Aussie Chicken Parmi. Wow!) and plentiful. And then the desserts. Holy cow! Beautifully presented, sensational flavours. We were in and out back on the road within an hour. Amazing for a Friday night in any pub, let alone a very busy one. We will be stopping in on our way home and possibly every trip after.
