Legit a favourite of mine, and love that so many people have visited and let me know how much they liked this cafe also! Its in an area hidden area of Melbourne, and the venue is very trendy. Love the outdoor area at the back, its my go to spot! The food is incredible! Eggs Benedictos is a fav dish, usually always ordered. The fried chicken burger is delicious and just so moist and crispy! Arg! Salivating thinking about this! You gotta try this place out!

Cauliflower and corn fritters- Well constructedthe tomato chutney and goats cheese compliments well with the cauliflower and corn fritters. Avocado is fresh which is a +1.
Huevos benedictos – Sour dough bread stayed crispy even with the egg bennys on top. Chorizo adds spice to the dish. We ordered a side of potato rosti which was flavoursome and crispy.
Soy chai latte using prana chai was well made. Smoothe aromatic and cup was glazed with honey for sweetness.
This cafe is located in a quiet neighbour. The staff here are friendly. The food looks good and taste good. I ordered the egg benedict dish and it is delicious. I like how the avocado is cut perfectly. The portion here is quite small but it is worth coming here to have brunch!
Temperance Society is a popular cafe tucked away in Hughesdale. We visited on a busy Saturday morning.
We ordered the bit of this, bit of that breakfast board and the vanilla & mango panna cotta. Both dishes came out beautifully presented.
I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast board which came with a mini granola, mini croissant, mini smashed avo with a poached egg and an OJ. This dish had all of my breakfast favourites and is perfect for when you cant decide what to order.
The panna cotta was equally impressive, all the elements of the dish worked well together and it wasnt too sweet.
However as good as the food was the service has room to improve. We were forgotten whilst waiting for a table and I saw other people arrive after me get seated before me. I also noticed that they seemed to have forgotten another tables order once I was seated.
I highly enjoyed the food at Temperance Society and had I received better service I would have rated it between 4 – 4.5 . Overall I give Temperance Society 3.5 out of 5.
I cant believe this gem was right down the road from me! Cutest little cafe, with a small but well presented menu, had the buttermilk chicken burger and the west coast salad with halloumi. Portions were big and the food was delicious, couldnt fault anything, will definitely return!
We visited this cafe for brunch on Saturday. They were quite busy. This cafe has both outdoor and indoor area which is very nice and relaxing.
We had 3 dishes and 2 drinks (smoothie and latte)
We loved their hotcake and smoothie the most, they were very delicious! The pasta was also yum.
We would go back again if we are around the area.
