This little place looks like a shelter shed but serves awesome coffee on the city side of the tracks. Consistently excellent service and coffee.
Opens nice and early, has great access to City-bound trains at Murrumbeena station. Excellent coffee served with haste. Always a selection of special items depending on the season. Beautiful dim sims from south melbourne market, and hearty hot pies and cold drinks. Hopefully there is a place for rail cafe in the skyrail development which includes a rebuild of the train station!
Excellent coffee great prices and great service….I tried coffee from here and keep coming back with the loyalty program 8 coffee is free..
Sweet little cafe with a lovely outside space with tables and chairs to enjoy a bit of sun or shade with your coffee. Great coffee, homemade delicious muffins and the cherry on the top is the friendly and attentive service. Very reasonable prices.
Great coffee. Quick and easy snacks, with some lovely, locally home-made choices. Friendly owner behind the counter. Always consistent.
What more could you ask for to start the day on the way to work?
Great coffee and service is the best in the area. Have great deals on toasted sandwiches. Very convenient right next to train station. However, it might be demolished for rail corridor project. Hope the owner gets looked after 🙂 , just like the story at Footscray station, where they saved the Olympic Doughnuts guy during that redevelopment.
He could make the coffees with his eyes closed. Good bloke, good coffee. The Dear Luncher sincerely hopes he gets looked after once they eventually rebuild Beena station.
