I’ve walked past this colourful looking shed so many times and I never noticed it. So after discovering it on the internet I decided to go and check it out. I bought a chai latte ($4.20) and a toasted ham & cheese sandwich ($5.50). First off I have to mention the owner. Great, funny guy who is happy to start conversations with the customers. The toasted ham & cheese was simple, but really nice. The cheese melted nicely and the there was a decent amount of ham inside the sandwich. The chai latte was also simple as well. Not overly sweet, but subtle and had a good amount of cinnamon. All in all, not bad. Nothing really ‘popped’ in terms of taste in regards to the chai latte and toasted sandwich. However, it was still good overall. So would I recommend this caf? While it’s not anything too special it is great for a quick coffee and/or bite. Therefore I do recommend checking it out.
