This place is a little gem. Lumprice on Saturdays (chicken in rice mixed with raisins and a whole lot of other things) is my favourite. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. It’s a simple joint, feels just like home.
The beef & egg pan roll here is the best I have tried in Mel. They have an amazing Lumprise on Saturdays, have been having this for the past several years and the quality and tastes remains the same. Not w big fan of the rice & curry here although the deviled beef on Thursdays is pretty special.
Food I have to say really authentic,

However I had my dinner there, kottu roti(photo uploaded) and after I finish my dinner and half was left, so thought I will ask for takeaway box, I don’t know the lady looked at me like I asked another kottu roti for free!
It was funny but she should not have done that!
Overall grate, defiantly recommended interns of taste.
Authentic food, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. We had the string hopper kottu and rice w chicken and three veg.
The experiences I have at Spicy Swan I never forget. The quality of food – amazing and with friendly and informative staff too. The taste is something I haven’t been able to get offi mind, so much that I’ve been inspired to recreate the dishes at home. With the best value for money and a plate at a size that isn’t laughable I recommend Spicy Swan to lovers of South East Asian cuisine or any food adventurer. 5 stars!!
