The Ivanhoe Hotel is my local pub and I have been coming here for years. Various names for the pub have come and gone, but its location is supreme.
The beer is always cold and plenty to choose from. As far as food is concerned, it is standard pub fare and can be a little hit or miss. However prices are reasonable and with some attention to detail can become always consistent and compliment the updated settings.
The view from the bistro is a gem. Well worth a visit for a drink leading into summer. Staff are welcoming and you are made to feel at home, cheers to all.
