Came on a Saturday night and the restaurant was rather empty. The venue is quite old and small, but cosy and homey. Service was okay – being the only customers in the restaurant, we were given full attention.
The menu is quite standard, with not too many options to choose from. We did enjoy the seafood chowder for our starter which was creamy and comforting. The mains were okay – nothing too special, but the portions were quite large. The steak was a bit tough though.

I used to live a few blocks from the strip and was familiar with this cafe back then. I have heard mixed reviews about the cafe. Once upon a time it was a great place to eat and since changing hands it has been more of a miss than a hit.
I didnt want to judge so we walked in desperate for caffeine. We were served by a friendly waitress who took our orders promptly. We asked about cakes and she prompted us to come to their cake window display and choose.
I opted for the Fig and Walnut Flourless cake and my other half ordered the Lemon, Pear and Raspberry Flourless cake. Both were light and sweet and complimented the coffee. Both our strong flat whites were strong and gave us the energy boost we needed.
The cafe is a bit dated but the service given was great. I cant speak about their lunch or dinner service but coffee and cake is a thumbs up from me!
