Quiet joint great coffee. I love the coffee here, strong but not bitter, properly prepared.
I had the other day the most delectable vegetarian roll ever, seeded bread with a fabulous combo of roasted vegetables, which was yummy all over., and so very beautiful to look at .
The place is frequented by quiet people wanting to have a quiet time. No hype.
Very small place, but very classy stylish furniture and decoration.
Staff are correct.
Lunch at Grounded House.. Enjoyable and flavourable coffee. Most helpfull in purchasing splended coffee.
Service was wonderful. We will be back.
Beautiful Coffee!. I visit this cafe almost every day. The coffee is wonderful. You can see when it’s made how much passion, care and detail is put into every cup. They also don’t charge extra for soy. This is thr first place I’ve been to that used a bit of common sense and fairness deciding not to charge extra for soy. Great job!
Awesome coffee Great desert…. Awesome coffee
Great deserts.

Great atmosphere.
Cheers Mel.
Poor service. Need to learn to smile guys. I thought Di Bella has great coffee maybe the Barista doesn’t know how to make it.
Kensinites. I like Kensington, but don’t live there. On my several visits to Kensington’s main strip, I have picked up on an air of local pomposity within some small business’. That is to say that some local business operators aren’t all that welcoming to people they don’t recognise as regulars. Each time I have visited Grounded House, this is the feeling I have been presented with. No greeting, no smile, no service. I make this by comparison to other patrons who are greeted by name and readily enjoy conversation with the owner and other wait staff, as I am others are decidedly ignored, or simply starred at until it gels that I am expected to order. This alone is enough to leave a sour taste in my mouth before I’ve consumed anything. The coffee is mediocre and the food is basic. The dated interior is rather depressing and it is clear that there is much love lost by the owners. I can say that the interior comprised of battered cafe furniture, ill kept floor boards & old fashioned coffee storage canisters affixed to the wall match the food and coffee. Perhaps the newer cafe business’ emerging in Kensington will prove to encroach on Grounded House’s market share. This may (and hopefully for the sake of small business) help the owners wake up and smell the coffee grounds so new business is welcomed and promoted.
